New Course Record set at Bangor GC

Jack Owens shot a 62 Gross yesterday in the August Monthly medal to set a new course record of 9 under par.  The funny thing is it wasn’t even good enough to win the competition! Jack shot a net 60 but was beat on the back nine by another young man playing off 20.  Oliver Rodgers shot 80 to win!

Jacks round consisted of two eagles and five birdies and no bogeys, a flawless round of golf! Well done that man!  That beats the previous record of 64 by Garth McGimpsey by 2 shots! Continue reading “New Course Record set at Bangor GC”
